For decades, the church ceiling has been peeling and chipping, with plaster and paint chips cascading earthward with more and more frequency. A previous "renovation" used inappropriate materials, so a total ceiling plan was needed, including fund raising. Happily, the financial goal was met, thanks to a primary donor and will meet the challenge, barring unforeseen problems.

In advance of the official construction start date of June 7, the sanctuary was cleared of all decorative and functional objects, such as hymnals, statuary, etc. Thank you Patti and Sarah for your good efforts!
